Land Acquisition

West Bay’s Land Department staff is available to answer questions for those landowners who have leased their oil & gas rights to the company for exploration purposes.

This open communication is particularly important during the drilling and completion of wells to ensure that the land is utilized properly and that the production of oil and natural gas has a minimal impact on the property.

If the wells drilled are successful in the production of oil and /or natural gas, the land staff at West Bay is available to answer questions that leased landowners may have regarding royalty distribution; retention of oil and gas rights on properties that are sold or other questions relating to income from oil and/or natural gas production.
